How to Unlock ROA
The Lv160 quest chain that earns the Token of Protect Military and unlocks the Remains of the Ancients (RoA) dungeon.
To enter the Remains of the Ancients (RoA) dungeon you must be Level 160+ and complete the quest chain below to obtain the Token of Protect Military, which grants entry. Hover any quest for its in-game objective.

Step-by-step
Talk to Warrior Hector in City of Ruins to begin.
- Take the quest from Warrior Hector and go to Armor Trader Bella in Rondo for a new quest.
- New quest: kill Lilith in Red Spider Circus Stage 3 to get the quest item, then deliver it back to Armor Trader Bella in Rondo.
- Take the Dungeon Teleport to Red Spider Circus and enter Stage 3 — you may want a hand for this one.
- Go to City of Ruins and take the next quest from Witch''s Child Xabi.
- Go back to Warrior Hector in City of Ruins for another quest.
- Bring Warrior Hector's quest to Charmer Kisha in Mare Village.
- New quest: kill Starving Slaughterer, then return to Charmer Kisha for the next quest.
- This boss is just outside Mare Village. It's solo-able, but if you brought help for Circus Stage 3, use it here too.
- Go back to Warrior Hector for another quest.
- New quest: kill Soul of Lunacy in Red Spider Circus Stage 3 or 4 to acquire the quest item.
- Very hard boss — bring high-level help. It rarely drops the required item (a red bag on the floor), so you may have to repeat this a few times. Be patient, and keep your tank happy.
- Go to City of Ruins and take the next quest from Witch''s Child Xabi to receive the Token of Protect Military.
- Talk to Warrior Hector for another quest and gain +1 TP.
- New quest: kill Knight Hector in the new dungeon to acquire the quest item, then return to Warrior Hector to complete it.
- Congratulations — you can now enter RoA! To finish you need Bloody Paper: get a strong Mercenary or Void Mage to bring you to Hector's Room and kill the boss, or look for one on the Auction House.
- Go to Rondo and talk to Blacksmith Henry to get a Booster Item.
